Hemp in Therabis
Will my pet get high?
What's the difference between industrial hemp and the drug commonly associated with it?
Despite common misconceptions, hemp is not another euphemism for the drug often incorrectly associated with it. The come from two different plants or ‘breeds’ (called strains or cultivars) of the cannabis sativa plant species. One of the most profound differences between hemp plant and the drug plant is psycho-activity. In recent history, breeders have worked to build strains of the plant used to make the drug with the highest possible content of the part of the plant that makes you feel high. However, hemp has been bred to fulfill industrial applications like fiber, paper and nutrition, and contains less than 0.3% of the part of the plant that makes you feel high by law.
Does Therabis contain hemp and is it safe for my pet?
Hemp interacts with your pet’s endocannabinoid system; the central regulatory system known to affect bodily processes such as digestion, mood and sleep. In the realm of veterinary science, hemp is one of the most exciting and promising therapies being studied today.
Is this backed by research?
